Steffenie and Gatlin were married in early September in Georgia on family land. It was a day full of intentional details- Steffenie included a butterfly pin in her bouquet from her grandma, the family planted marigolds to match the florals I brought. I created color blocked bouquets for her wedding party to contrast against their neutral outfits and bright airy arrangements for the guest tables. We cut branches from the property to adorn the tent and the family added in special touches like the oranges on the tables. It was clearly a joyous day and every detail reflected that!

I was delighted that they wanted a true fall palette to mark the season and unusually warm weather meant I still had access to dahlias. The chuppah I created for them featured Evan’s family tallit and lots of greenery and bright blooms.
Sarah and Kenton were married on a (very hot) September day at the Homestead in North Georgia just below Chattanooga.

I combined warm golds and rusty oranges with pinks for a fall palette with a little more subtlety. Moss, mushrooms and locally grown mums added interesting texture.
